BETH HUBBARD (WINNER OF 2021)

"Beth Hubbard is a singer, song writer and musician based in Goole, East Yorkshire. She takes a lot of inspiration from the likes of Fleetwood Mac, Alanis Morisette, Joni Mitchell, HAIM and Paramore.

Since learning to play the guitar at the age of 10, and humming tunes since before she could talk, Beth has made her mark on the local music scene. Gigging from 15 around Yorkshire, at venues and on live radio, she has made a name for herself with her original music and engaging covers.

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, this is reflected a lot with in her music, as well her own personal struggles with mental health.

She's performed for the likes of the great Geno Washington and BBC radio host Jo Wiley, as well as several live sessions on the radio. She's been described as "excellent in session" by BBC Introducing Radio Humberside's Alan Raw.
Last November, she released her debut EP with Strange Reality Music Productions, 'Sapphic' and is in the process of writing new material for the follow-up!
